Weekly Blog #25: 3/6-3/19(Spring Break Included)

Over the past week, spring break was a very productive time for me when it comes to the writing side of my research. I practiced pulling secondary sources from databases, and by the end of the week, I had collected all of the secondary sources I wanted to use for my Final Product. I have a total of 10 articles, and I have thoroughly annotated all of them in hopes of getting some more ideas for survey questions from some of the material I had learned. Due to the fact that I have not conducted my survey yet and have not had observation with Dr. Jagani, my outline for my research portfolio is not fully fleshed out, but the material from my secondary materials have allowed me to distinguish the main focuses of my essay and my central question that the essay revolves around. I also drafted my first ten questions for my survey and got them approved by Dr. Jagani. In this upcoming week, I will meet with Professor Mitchell to go over my revised version of my original work, which is now more focused and is in APA style, and gain some guidance on APA citations which is the one thing I struggled with on the writing side of my research.
