Weekly Blog #17: 1/8-1/15

Over the course of the last week, my focus has been purely on the Research Showcase on January 17th. Due to the past few weeks being dedicated to creating my original work and it being completed by January 3rd, since then I have been working on how to best display it to my audience. Due to the fact that my original work was a research paper, I could not attach my work to my board. Instead, I decided to provide a hard copy in front of the board for tangible reading and a QR code for online access for those who would prefer to use technology. Over the last week, I have also been considering my Final Product. While I want to write a reflectionary paper on how pediatrics positively impacts society with personal accounts, I would also like to take part or create a community service project that give sick children a wider source of opportunity to experience literature. Overall, the last week has been mainly about me wrapping up my first semester, and planning for my second semester. Going into next week, I hope to finish my final product proposal and plan my first mentor visits with my mentors after the research showcase.
