Weekly Blog #8: 10/15-10/22: Analyzing the Information

Over the course of this past week, I have taken part in two interviews, and moving forward I intend to spend more time in my original work rather than interviews. As the second six weeks begins to wrap up and I continue to search for a mentor who can guide me through my second semester, there are two major goals I plan to gear my time in Independent Study and Mentorship towards, both of which leading to gaining knowledge through my Original Work process. First, I plan to commit at least 3 hours every week to my original work alone until the project is due. By committing this time every week, I am guaranteed to have strong results from my project. This also gives me the time to focus on both primary and secondary research in the upcoming six weeks to the best of my ability. While this goal is more academic, my second goal revolves more around wellbeing. My second goal that I would like to set in place is to implement stress management techniques into my life in the next few weeks. This will allow me to stay organized as I work on my original work and will ultimately make my product better quality.
