Weekly Blog #30: 4/22-4//29

Over the course of the second week of the sixth six weeks in Independent Study and Mentorship, from April 22nd to April 29th, I have actually performed my practice speech for Final Presentation Night, the speech I finished the previous week, in order to get into the groove of the 30 minute speech. I think I could probably brush up on my fillers, and I received some strong feedback from my peers on what to elaborate more in my speech to make what a learning program is clearer to my audience. Overall, I think I cover all the topics I need to thoroughly, but I plan to add more about my Final Product in order to elaboration more on the meaning of learning that I use as my foundation for my final product for the year. I also spoke with my mentor on Friday regarding my portfolio and my final product. I stayed on timeline for most of my project but I ended up not needing as many interviews as I thought I would for the overall project. Moving into next week, I will continue to practice my speech before performing it on Friday May 3rd since my mentor will be unable to attend Final Presentation Night
