Thinking about how this is my final weekly blog for my time in Independent Study and Mentorship is a major mindset shift from the beginning of the past two years. As I head into my final presentation night for the year, I am excited to share my growth, projects, and knowledge with my family in the next week. While my mentor will be unable to attend Final Presentation Night, I know that I have shared my product with her, that I have worked hard, and that I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her on my project over the course of the past year. She has showed me that learning is more than retaining information; it means applying it and helping others grow as well. Studying business this year has truly shown me what I want to do with my career and I am ready to carry my research and newly acquired skills into college and into a job in the upcoming future. ISM has shown me what it means to work hard and to truly apply yourself. Moving into this next week with Final Presentation coming up, I am ready to show everyone just what exactly I am capable of.
