Weekly Blog #29: 4/15-4/22

Over the course of the past week in Independent Study and Mentorship, from April 15th to April 22nd, I have worked on aspects for Final Presentation Night and I have planned my next conversation with my mentor for Friday, April 26th. Beginning the sixth six weeks, and seeing the end of the school year coming up, I could not be more excited to share my research with my friends and family. I have completed the writing portion of my speech for Final Presentation Night, edited my Prezi presentation, and made a few edits to my classroom program in order to make sure everything is in order for May 20th. While my mentor will not be able to attend Final Presentation Night, I want everything to go smoothly, especially since my project was so hands on and could be applied to an actual business. Moving into next week, I’m having my mentor look over my final product one more time before finalizing the document and posting the final draft on my website. Overall, I’m excited to wrap up the year on a strong note and show my family what I have been working toward since the beginning of the school year.
