Weekly Blog #26: 3/25-4/1

Over the course of the past week in Independent Study and Mentorship, from March 25th to April 1st, I have focused on moving forward with my final product as much as possible in order to stay on top of my work. I had a phone call meeting with my mentor last week, who has been traveling, in order to go over specific changes that she felt needed to be made to my final product rough outline before continuing to flesh out my rough draft. She said that she felt that my entire outline as a whole demonstrated a large amount of understanding, and that she would only reword my basic problem to highlight that learning and development can aid in aging workforce by providing more education, but that lack on education is not the cause of an aging workforce specifically. After our meeting, I am continuing to interview people, and I have proceeded with my fleshed-out rough draft and it is currently sitting at 16 pages total, and I am not done fleshing out everything. Moving into next week, I am scheduling interviews, and also finishing my rough draft so that I can be ahead of my calendar for my final product.
