During the past week in Independent Study and Mentorship, from February 18th to February 25th, I spent most of my time over the course of the week preparing research for my Final Product and reaching out to more professionals in the business world. Over the course of the next three weeks, I plan to get as many interviews done as possible in order to allow me to begin my structuring of my learning program. By meeting over the phone with my mentor last week, I decided to reach out to more people through LinkedIn in case the people from Chief Learning Officer magazine were unable to meet with me. By Friday, I had reached out to nineteen people in Learning and Development through LinkedIn and started asking for phone interviews in the upcoming weeks. As I wait to hear back from those professionals, I am continuing to read articles about successful CLOs in the business world today. Moving into next week, I plan to start a rough draft of my program just based on secondary research and revising portions of the rough draft after my interviews with previously successful professionals, so I can later adjust my program to include some of the strengths currently functioning programs have
