Over the course of the past week, from January 14 to January 21, I have made more strides in my work for my second semester in independent study and mentorship. I have completed my rough draft for my final product for my second semester and took part in the research showcase for the district-wide ISM program. The showcase went incredibly well, and I am glad to have been able to share that experience with my mentor, who is able to look through all of my work from my first semester in one place. It was also a great foundation for me to start thinking about my final product. In my proposal from earlier in the week, I go into depth about a learning initiative that I hope to create that could possibly be utilized in the future. Over the course of the next coming week, I plan to give my speech over my regional work and mentor experience as well as begin my research for my final product in order to stay on task with my calendar that I have set up in my proposal. Overall this past week has marked the beginning of my work for second semester and I am excited to dive headfirst into my second project of the year.
