Weekly Blog #11/12-11/19

Over the course of the last week before Thanksgiving break, I have officially begun my fourth and final section of my Original Work project. Last week, I spent majority of my work time editing and refining my essay to the best of my ability in the hopes of giving me a solid foundation for my analysis portion, the fourth quarter of my Original Work. My essay portion of my original work has been edited and is now done after receiving 9 out of 15 responses for my survey portion of the essay. Ultimately, this means that my third quarter of my project is completed, and now I have begun applying my thesis to three major companies in the area. By doing this, I am research to a real world area. While I gained primary feedback through my survey, I felt it was important to apply it to the field in an analysis to increase my understanding. Over the next week, I will finish my company analysis in order to provide myself with enough time to compile this analysis into an interactive handout for my research showcase to put on display next to my essay, and overall I feel that this adds to the reliability of my research.
