Over the course of the last week, I have achieved two major accomplishments: getting a mentor and taking large strides in my original work process. I have finalized all of my survey questions and have categorized them into two major groups which allow me to best analyze the results when working on my original work essay: what the effectiveness of learning and development and what is the definition of learning and development on a business scale? By choosing to answer these two questions, I will be able to best understand how widely the definition of learning and development can span over the business world as well as how helpful professionals see it as. As for getting a mentor, I asked Mrs. Rachael Bourque to be my mentor because I felt she could provide the best knowledge of the learning and development area and show me how it can directly impact people's quality of life through programs like learning initiative through companies like Pearson. Overall, I am excited to get started with my mentorship in the next few weeks and to start my essay on my original work and I feel that I am making large strides of progress through my research.
