Weekly Blog #10: 11/5-11/12

Coming up to the end of my third quarter on my original work quarter plan, I am moving full speed ahead to begin my fourth quarter of my original work. Over the course of the past week, not only have I spoken to my new mentor about the rest of the semester, but I have also gained more knowledge from my survey to begin my primary research section of my original work essay. Before this past week, while I had sent out requests to professionals to consider completing the survey and specified that it was only three minutes in duration and all multiple choice, I had not received any responses for my primary research portion. However, by the end of last week, I began receiving people’s responses to my survey. Out of the fifteen professionals I have reached out to so far, four people have responded. This puts me in a position that I can begin my primary research section with a foundation on the results of my survey. Moving into this next week, I plan to reach out to more professionals in order to get a larger pool of respondents for some of the questions that provide less insight than I had hoped and finish editing my secondary research portion of my essay before November 15th.
