With one week before school starts, I have tried to make sure I am ready for the upcoming school year and starting off right. Over the course of the past week, I've done my best to set myself to start interviewing professionals as soon as possible. I have created a rough draft of my résumé where I’ve included an updated list of my accomplishments, course loads, and extracurricular activities. I have also put together a contact list made up of 20 people through LinkedIn. One of the professionals I have reached out to can not schedule an interview until after the start of the school year, but we have still remained in contact in order to set it up as soon as possible. By the end of the week, I had set up my digital portfolio, finished my résumé, and started researching for my research assessments for later in the school year. Going into this next week, I hope to schedule at least one interview and set up a calendar for the month of August in order to get ahead on the upcoming workload that accompanies the start of the school year. Overall, I would say that the goal of the next week is to finalize my plans for my digital portfolio.
